SCHOLARSHIPS

Blue Lake's desire is that NO camper will be turned away due to financial hardship.
If financial assistance is needed, we have a few options available!

PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS

CAMPERSHIPS

If you just need some assistance getting your child to camp, this option is for you! Throughout the year when we host various camps and retreats, we give the campers and volunteers a chance to donate to Blue Lake. Any money collected during these opportunities goes directly into our Scholarship Fund. With this money we do our best to give assistance to as many families as we can so no one is left at home due to finances!

Application Deadline: June 1st, 2024

FULL SCHOLARSHIPS

EACH ONE, REACH ONE

This program is the newest addition to our fundraising and donating options! This program allows church groups, clubs, Sunday School classes, or even a group of friends can come together to sponsor a child to go to camp.
When the group donates enough to send a child to camp, they are paired with that child's family so the group can pray for the child and their time at camp.

Application Deadline: June 1st, 2024

IMPORTANT:

When applying for a scholarship, BOTH the Scholarship Application and the Camper Registration Forms
need to be printed, filled out and MAILED or FAXED to Blue Lake.

CHURCHES / VOLUNTEERS

We rely on (background checked) volunteers to keep our campers safe. When campers attend with their church, we expect the churches to provide enough adults to meet the appropriate ratios (6:1 for elementary camps, 8:1 for youth camps).

Additionally, adults that attend camp are invited and expected to be active participants in all aspects of camp. Our summer staff will lead most activities through the week, but adults may be asked to assist in things like leading a small group devotional or assist with arts and crafts facilitation. Adults who are enthusiastic and lead by example will make their camper's experience that much more impactful!

IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

All summer volunteers must complete and turn in our Safe Sanctuaries Covenant handout along with their registration.
Please take time to read the training document below. Then sign the Covenant form that is already attached to your paper registration.

YOUR REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE COMPLETE WITHOUT THIS TRAINING
